I'm looking for a known film archive or library in Japan with a large collection of Japanese films and which offers screenings or is open for public viewing.
Something like La Cinematheque Fransais in Paris, or the Berkley Pacific Film Archive in California (which as I understand is the largest Japanese film archive in the world, oustide of Japan)... but as I said, I'm looking for one IN JAPAN.
By the way, I'm particularly interested in the Japanese science fiction and monster movies (Kaiju Eiga), so if you know of any film establishment, film art house, etc. in Japan that specializes in these genres - that would be great. Thanks
