A Sample Question...
It’s late at night, and Joe is having difficulty with a Calculus assignment due in the morning. It’s much too late to contact a TA, and all of his friends have gone to bed. Joe has heard of ExpertBee from his friends who use it, and so decides to surf over to www.expertbee.com.

Once on ExpertBee.com, Joe creates an account by simply entering a username, email address, and password into the required fields. Now he is a registered User!
In order to get the help he wants, Joe goes to the "Create a Question" page. He writes a description of his question and how much he is willing to pay for the answer.

Jane, a math whiz and ExpertBee registered user, is up late working on a history paper, when she receives an email from ExpertBee. A question has been posted with “Math” or “Calculus” in the title, which matches the alert terms she picked when she registered as an expert. The email tells her that a user named Joe needs help right away, and is willing to pay up to $10 for the help. Jane clicks on the link in the email, signs in, and offers to help for $9 dollars (Jane knows that other people will see the question, so she bids lower than Joe’s asking price).
Within minutes, Joe has several replies to his question. The bids from experts range from $5.00-$9.99.
Joe skims all the expert profiles, and sees that Jane has a PhD in Mathematics and has tutoring experience. Although she isn’t the cheapest, she looks like the best “fit.” Joe pays ExpertBee $9 through paypal.
ExpertBee then pays Jane, deducting a commission of $0.60 plus 20% of the $9 fee. Now Joe and Jane are set up to communicate by email through ExpertBee’s anonymous email system. Neither person ever has to see the other’s contact information. Joe sends Jane the problems he needs help with, and Jane emails him back with detailed explanations a few minutes later.
Joe now understands how to tackle his homework, and it only took him 15 minutes! Later the next day, Joe and Jane receive “feedback requested” emails. They both enter detailed feedback, adding to Jane’s rich transaction history, and starting a new history for Joe.
